    And here I am all 40 years of age studying ratio for my coffee recipe. to the kids please be proficient in math if not excellent. You can use basic knowledge in carpentry, food recipes, everyday finances, etc. analytical thinking will also improve and memory. getting the GCF is actually the scaling factor when you get to geometry.

    We all know this: a(b + c) = ab + ac Now label the function in parentheses x. ax, where x = (b+c) Distributing the a into x gives you 1x, where x = (a*b + a*c) Factoring takes things out of the function in parentheses, and distribution puts things back in. It does not remove the function in parentheses or the coefficient. When you multiply the coefficient and variable they both disappear at the same time giving you a single quantity. Algebra tells us that all parentheses have a coefficient. You can factor or distribute but neither goes away until you evaluate the multiplication between them. 6/2(1+2) is the same as 6 / 2x where x = (1+2). If you distribute the 2, you have 6 / 1x, x = (2*1+2*2). When you evaluate 1x, both the coefficient and parentheses disappear and are replaced with 1*6 or 6. This nonsense about only doing what is inside the parentheses only works when the coefficient is 1, because 1 times anything is itself.

Select a random number to the left of -5, a number between -5 and -2, and a number to the right of -2. I selected numbers closest to -5 and -2. Starting from the left, each section of the number line, around or between -5 and -2, will be false, true, false. Interval notation: [-5, -2] (by looking from left to the right of the number line) Inequality: x ≥ -5 OR x ≤ -2 (if the line goes left, x is ≤ smaller than or equal to, if line goes to the right, x is ≥ greater than or equal to) I prefer to write the inequality after graphing on the number line. So, the answer should be somewhere between -5 and -2 lol I could be a good tutor, I just learned this today :0

    13:23 another video from Organic chemistry tutor said to use [-5,2], because they’re fixed points. You only use () if there’s an infinity included, like (-∞, 5] if someone could explain that’d be great. Okay so now I understand after I did some research; you always write ( ) with infinities, but if an inequality has a ≥ (greater than or equal to) or ≤ (less than or equal to), the number is included on the number line, which ● a filled circle is marked above the number on the number line, so we use [ ] around that number in the interval notation. If the equation only has < or >, the number isn’t included on the number line, which ○ is drawn above the number, we use ( ) around the number in interval notation. If there’s a variety of ≥, ≤, <, or > in an inequality equation, we use ( ) and [ ] depending on which number is behind each sign.

    Step 1: Take away 4 on both sides so there is an x and a number on one side 3 x + 4 = 19 -4 -4 Step 2: You subtract, and make your new equation. 3 x = 15 Step 3: Once you have your x and number on one side of the equation, you can now divide the number by it's x, and you will get your x. 3x = 15 ÷3 ÷3 x = 5 I hope I helped out a bit. 😊😊😊
